Reformed earlier this year and have been playing European festival dates the last few months. Check out the setlists, they're playing the classic too.DexterPunk wrote:WHAT!!!!!!!!!?????????? I thought they broke up!!!!!!!!

They playing Soundwave festival here in Feb/March next year with Janes Addiction.
A few clips on Youtube of their new gigs and they're looking as awesome as ever. Pity they didn't bring back Jim Martin or even draft in Trey Spruance but Jon Hudson is no slouch.

I hope they do some other shows too. Easily in my top 5 favourite bands. Angel Dust and KFAD are just such kickarse albums.

I may be wrong here but I think Trey was only ever in faith for the recording of king for a day... He was mainly only a bungle member... As I said I might be wrong.Exar Kun wrote:Reformed earlier this year and have been playing European festival dates the last few months. As for AFI..... would have been interested 5 or 6 years ago. Still fucking love their shit up to and including sing the sorrow... It was just progressively more emo after. that 'shut your mouth, open your eyes' ftw.

Just got back from Sydney this morning and wow... What an amazing gig. Played some classic songs - Surprise You're Dead, Be Aggressive, KFAD, Gentle Art. Just awesome. Only wish I'd been able to grab tix to the sideshow too.

They were awesome huh! Patton's range and versatility blows me away.

Haha yeah, I saw it and thought fifteen years ago I would have bought that and worn it around with pride. I ended up grabbing the KFAD shirt instead. Saw a few people in Angel Dust t-shirts but they must have been from one of the smaller stalls.pogo wrote:
