Mass Effect 2

Post by NeilPearson »

Anyone got this?

Picked up a copy yesterday, its got alot of improvments on gameplay over the orignal and some other things they have removed which i liked.

Weapons are alot harder to uprgade but its good!

im enjoying it. tho all i have done for 16 hours of gameplay is assemble my team. only 2 people from the original are in it and as i said, 16 hours (in about a 24 hour time frame) and all i done is assemble 3/4 of my team.

OH

one thing is i cant access the same parts of the citadel from ME1. boo.

I also got a note i had a new outfit for miranda when i did a mission of hers, but fuck me if i can find where you can change what the others are wearing :\

You have to do their mission that they request you help them with. Once they're loyal they will get a 2nd outfit.

I played through ME1 all last week and loved it... Started ME2 on Friday night and have been playing all weekend. Almost got all my crew together and i've found out how to get through the omega relay. I think i'm almost done! Also noticed that on the loading screens where it gives you hints and tips it tells you to make sure to keep your save file for ME3 ;) I love the way it does that!

Hopefully will play it and then give ME2 a go.

Does ME1 get interesting after you get past that first space station bit? I got so bored out of my skull running around there and riding in lifts that by the time I got to the point of being able to leave I just gave up on it.

nope, it's the same grind all the way through. I'm happy to hear I'm not the only one who think this way :)

Finished last night :) I'd love to share how everyone's game turned out but I think that it may cause people to get upset about spoilers.

bit dissapointed with that tbh. there was no chasing over the galaxy, it was just get the squad together and then goto the mass effect relay.

Bit Meh. I dont know, maybe im being over critical? all other reviews say its just awesome.

The way i feel is it's just the middle of a trilogy. Always crap because it's always leading up to something big :D

Wicked games definately worth buying.

ME3 was a bit of a letdown unfortunately but still a worth while purchase.
