That's a busted collarbone for sure. You can always tell by the way he was holding his arm up.

Shame about that.

Wow. That's a surprise. Cheers.

Couldn't stay awake for all of it but it was great racing. I wanted more split times though. Frustrating. Interesting not having race radio wasnt it?

Yes the coverage was rubbish.. I think it was @norbs who pointed out that we get spoilt in the grand tours.

Shame to see an ex-doper get the win and Stu O'Grady go home without a medal.. that guy deserved better... What might of been if Rogers attack worked..

Very entertaining to see Team GB not in the running after all their talk... and satisfying to hear Cav blame the Aussies! :aussie: :aussie:

Those comments were amazing to me. Oz had someone in the break, why the hell would they want to help UK chase?

This is an IOC fix not unlike what we have come to expect from people like Bernie Ecclestone. They nominate their mates to do it and the coverage suffers because the host broadcaster is forced to take the feed.

re. the coverage, this off twitter...

OBS company behind broadcast is a cosy company with monopoly TV rights granted by IOC. Directors include ex-UCI boss Hein Verbruggen.

When ever I see the name Hein Verbruggen I get a little bit of vomit in my mouth.

Yeah, that's how it works. Corrupt IOC crooks passing off the plumb deals to their mates instead of those best suited to the job. Shows what they think of the audience.

Shame the Beeb got caught up in it.

I was watching some of the archery earlier which was quite interesting but it got me thinking. Why not combine archery and darts. Darchery! Have something like a 20ft diameter dart board target that you shoot arrows at from 70m. Play regular 501 games :)

You can do it with guns too. 10 meter darts for air pistol, 50 meter darts for hand guns, 300 meter darts for rifles and 1 kilometre darts for any current or ex military snipers.

I shit you not... I said this exact same thing yesterday afternoon whilst watching the archery. Chuck this 1->10 score thingy, I wanna hear the Olympics Archery announcer yell One Hundred and Eightyyyyyy!
