Sorry i've taken so long to get back to ya Kev, everytime i wanna see this forum i have to go to private messages 1st then click on ARSE Forum Index and it shows up lol. Here's a screenie of what i'm seeing......or not as the case maybe lol
As you can see there's no Forums under the ARSE NEWS heading. If i click that heading the forums still dont appear.

Definitely sounds like a zone alarm phpbb conflict. I haven't found an info on this yet but I'm working on it.

Can you post a picture of the threads. Does the text not appear in them either?

just for the sake of testing. I uninstalled KPF and installed ZA. I see the forums.
cheers
steve
EDIT
unistalled ZA and reinstalled a registered version fo KPF which allows web filtering, and get no text again. so I turn off web filtering again, and the text is back
just thought I'd let you guys know

EUREKA!!!!......I SEE TEXT!!! I SEE TEXT!!!
but seriously, i have just replied too an (old) PM from Kev that suggested a coupla tests and one was to try another browser (i use Opera).
fired up IE WITH ZA on and text stayed where it should. BLOODY RIPPA!!
But hang on i hate IE so what next???
well i'd gotten so used to turning ZA off whenever i entered our forums that i thought i's try it again in Opera with ZA on, AND THE TEXT DIDN'T DISAPPEAR!!!! HUH???
so what had changed?????......OPERA!!!!......I have very recently updated to the latest ver of Opera but hadn't tried reading our forums with ZA on since the update so hadn't noticed that my prob appears to be fixed(fingers xxxx), so its possible that this could have been an Opera prob all along.

I saw this but disregarded it initially as i knew i had java turned on in my browser ( and double checked to make sure).Kevin Clark wrote:
It has a little javascript part. Wonder if you've got java turned off on your browser?
I think that in the latest ver of Opera, this has whats maybe changed as i knew that i did have a java prob with some sites i visited (but never ARSE forum) Is it possible that whatever you changed in that instance has been corrected by the latest Opera ver?

One other possibility is that over the weekend the whole forum was junked and rebuilt from scratch. I haven't put that picture resizing mod back on yet so no java scripts are currently running in the background.
