I just got another ad to my iPhone by SMS. This time from the NRMA. I'm not even with the NRMA. Is there a way to bar ads or unsolicited text messages from your phone??
Cheers

Fairly sure there's an app (there's one for WinMo at least, so 110% chance there's one for iPhone) that blocks all SMS's from unkown numbers.

I think unless you are jailbroken there won't be any apps capable of blocking SMS unfortunately...
Is there a "no SMS" register? Similar to the no call register? Did the SMS come from a number or a blocked number? If there's a number, just ring them back and tell them to fuck off! Maybe even ask how they got your number in the first place! PS I'd ring them from another phone, else they might spam you even more.
