State of Origin 2 **Spoilers**

Post by Rots »

Go the Blues!!

However, it is likely QLD will take their 5 straight series win tonight. The QLD team is still a shit load better than ours. :(

I think Inglis will be fired up tonight and hopefully Hayne & Slater will clash again!

Lol the blues stand about as much chance as me running on and getting a try.

Not a freakin hope.

If you can leave two black stripes from the exit of one corner to the braking zone of the next, you finally have enough horsepower.

Yeah no chance, unless we're on our game and QLD have a shocker.

I wouldn't be so sure, it's one of those funny things in sport, apart from completely lopsided contests the more a team is written off the better the chance they have of pulling off an upset. Just think back to Aus v. NZ in the league world cup, no one gave the kiwis any chance at all and look what happened. All the off field dramas can go either way as well, just as likely to galvanise the team more than anything and if QLD go in feeling just a bit too comfortable about things then anything can happen.
We'll see I guess, by the way go maroons

Judging by my few Qld Twitter contacts, Qld must be 50 up at half time.

NSW wont win until they stop chopping and changing teams. Also, the current Qld team is one of the best origin teams ever imho. Except for that filthy cat Slater. :p

The only reason the blues managed a try at the end is because all the maroons were too busy laughing at their pathetic gameplay.

Only thing the blues managed to do was constantly attack peoples heads.

A mate and I worked out a list of things we were better at than QLD:

The best peformer in not completing sets
We missed the most tackles
We made the most number of errors
We also dropped the ball more often
Our players conceded the most amount of penalties

In general, at sucking, we were by far the best team last night!

At least they came to play I guess. Why do they wait till game 3 every year? Queensland have too much class atm.

We need to install a team and leave the core there until they start to gel. Changing the whole team every game isn't going to do anything.

It is funny, the series before the Maroons started their streak of 5, they had lost 3 series running. I remember people like Paul Vautin saying SOO was on its last legs. Now you can't shut the red headed fuck up. It really is more important to those poor bastards up north than it is to the Blues.

The Blues wont win until some of the Maroons retire. They have too good a team. It is as easy as that.

Yeah way too good of a team. It is possible that Lockyer has played his final origin and also that Panther dude with the long arse surname.

The other advantage QLD have is Smith, Cronk, Inglis & Slater as they train every week together being from Melbourne Storm.

Agree totally - even though I was on the Maroons last night

Much like Rugby League's World Cup. It means fuck all to us to win it but we have everything to lose if we dont.
