2010 is now officially known as the year of indecision.
I suspect you mean "poll" result...
Anyhow, yes, 2010 is definitely the year of indecision.
The British Open tennis produced a marathon 5 set match where the last set went through something in excess off 100 games before a winner was established.
The Federal Election was too close to call.
The Grand Final was a tie.
What will happen in the Melbourne Cup?

The AFL has already said there will be extra time next week if its drawn again - but they haven't decided on future years.
Given the screw ups this has caused, my bet is that they will be leaned on to fix it.
30 years ago it didn't matter so much but when you consider how many other things have been affected by it, there's no justification for it any more. Among those things to be affected are:
The World Road Racing Championships at Geelong will lack the pre-eminence it deserves;
The delay in installation of the wickets into the centre of the MCG for the upcoming cricket season;
District cricket matches have been put on hold for a week;
Next week's auctions will be badly affected;
Interstate visitors will probably not come back a second time.
The principal beneficiaries of this are the AFL who are set to rake in another $20m - give or take - for the second running.

So why would the AFL change?
Other people's events are not the AFL's problems. Everyone who makes money from the Grand Final is probably happy as hell.
Surely there are more important rules to invest time in than one that trips them up 3 times in 100 years.
- When trouble arises and things look bad, there is always one individual who perceives a solution and is willing to take command. Very often, that individual is crazy.
- If youre paddling upstream in a canoe and a wheel falls off, how many pancakes fit in a doghouse? None! Icecream doesn't have bones!!!
Because Melbourne now has so many major events that compromising any one of them spells a major problem, both financially and logistically.
I reckon there will be some err... negotiations going on. Not that I think the AFL can actually be persuaded to do anything they don't want to do. After all, it is football which runs this state.
By the way: I left out the soccer match between Heart and Victory. That has to be put back nearly a week which must throw the whole season into some sort of disarray, especially since those teams will be clearly disadvantaged.

Well I watched the game with a bunch of AFL supporters and even they agreed that it was bull shit that they didnt play extra time.
How the fuck anyone can get excited about a game that looks like a 10 year olds soccer game is beyond me. That is the scrappiest fucking mess of a game I have ever seen.
No one is forcing you to watch it... I don't watch the NRL final because I don't like the game. Simple. Go do your shopping next week, not sure what its like where you are, bit here it's completely dead, you have the shops all to yourself.
Hehe, Sportsbet refunded peoples money if they bet on Goddard for Norm Smith...
In the spirit of the people's Grand Final replay this week and after fans thought Goddard should have won the Norm Smith, punters who backed Brendon Goddard for the Norm Smith had their cash refunded by sportsbet.com.au
