2 cans of crushed tomatos
1 onion, diced
2 cloves of garlic, diced
1/2 cup chopped basil
1/2 cup chopped italian parsley
1 tablespoon of tomato paste
1 tablespoon of caster sugar
1 tablespoon of olive oil

Heat the oil in pan over med heat. Cook the onion and garlic for 3 mins or until brown and soft.

Add the tomato paste and two cans of crushed tomato's. Season with a good amount of salt and pepper. Simmer for about 8-10 mins, or until you get the thinkness you like. 2 Mins from the end. Stir in the caster sugar, basil and parsley. Serve with any kind of pasta you like. :)

This is yum, easy and alot better for you than the bottles of sauce you get from the supermarket!

I might try this too, looking for something that's not overpowering to go with my freshly made pasta as the pasta should be the star so this might work perfectly!! Cheers Giz.

Forgot to mention. I put all the pasta in the pan with the sauce and really mix it though. :)

This was another winner. Cheers gizmo.

This has a really fresh taste to it, unlike pasta sauce from a jar
