If redstone still works correctly with those little blocks, well, redstone circuits could be a hell of a lot more compact and would become more advanced.

I saw that one the other day, very cool mod just for redstone circuits, let alone using it to make small things or do detail work.

That's awesome, however, that's too small. I definitely wouldn't enjoy it.

I think about a quarter-block size on every side would be enough, or as they say 4 in each dimension. (1/64th overall)

Altho this level of deail with redstone would make fairly complicated circuits into one block - eg base circuitry elements.
That'd allow for some pretty decent stuff to be put into even smaller houses, not just castles, as Rots have pointed out :)

And if we had a "copy" function in-game that'd make it even better, hehe. Or a copy-machine...I seem to recall seeing a 3d printer in-game, that'd do it, LOL.
