Forum user pet peeves

Post by wabbit »

I was just thinking about this and I'm wondering if anyone else has some classic issues with their Internet friends. Go for broke, let it all out if you dare (doesn't exactly have to be about this forum).

Off the top of my head I can think of;
  • Quoting images or videos (hope you get my meaning)
  • Full on signatures (massive images, heaps of text)
  • Users that quote a very long post only to add something tiny
For me reading a thread is all about getting to the new content asap in the cleanest possible way. My peeves stop that from happening and sometimes I even get a little Gizmo Ragequit going on.

I dont like it when things go off topic

then someone tags along to the OT stuff and it goes from there. Eventually it usually comes back to the original topic though.

oh and did I mention I started a blog on my car?

Did anyone get Little Big Planet 2 today?

Played the demo... wasn't as awesome as I thought it would be.

Yup. Played through the first few levels, the demo was a poor representation of the game I thought. I don't think it's too different from the first one, but I thought the first one was over to soon. So I'm happy with it. :yes:

What the hell was the topic here?

Now that is an actual pet peeve!, people declaring Pool Room Status, as soon as that is dropped, it almost makes me think the thread is too lame for pool room. pfft, you killed it.

The repeated image quote thing pisses me off too.

Simple and clean. But none of those one word replies. As a forum owner that shits me the most.

Know what mine is yet? :D
It's been nice, chaps.
