s2 release thoughts...
i was just thinking...
with all of this controversy with ocrana racing and all the pre-alpha and alpha versions being on dislay (and taken back off for security reasons at the recent colongue (or however you spell that place))... do you think it was a good thing to have s2 displayed so early in it's development?
personally I think it would have been less trouble doing more updates as this method has presented a lot of things for the devs to worry about...
thoughts?

How can you feel cheated.. The games not finished.. it was a beta(alpha) version aimed at publicising the game to the public.Takumi wrote:alot of people seemed to feel cheated that the real fans of S1 missed out, unless they were in germany.
Man we are spoilt that they actually give us updates on the progress. If it was EA or someone developing the games you think they would post progress reports ?
cmon guys.. no-ones been cheated. We are getting the greatest racing sim for a good price and the money is going to the developers. NOT some marketing/ceo fat cats.

They are displaying their game at game conventions to advertise S2 so they can sell more copies & make more money. They already know the hardcore S1 fans will purchase S2. That’s the way business goes. We are lucky to get anything as Pix said.
And now, time for a Emoticon

Ahh just the dissapearance of posts
On a different note - I'm quite enjoying this break from the real lfs forum actually.. some of those people were starting to bug me. You know the guys - the ones that complain about everything. If they don't like something, they make it their duty to yell and scream. I'm not looking forward to hearing what problems xcnurse and looney and co have once real s2 discussion starts. /rant
There might be a bit less action round here, but at least I like reading all of it
