Did you use a DVD or from a usb stick? I used the stick last time and it was so much faster.

Went with a USB stick.

My DVD drive decided it no longer likes to read discs it burnt.

just for those of you who need closure, my SSD did arrive the following Tuesday.

I installed it along with Windows 8.1 on Thursday night. Liking it so far. No issues

Cant believe how fast the SSD boots up. Should have done it years ago :)

Building up a mini-itx box bought a SSD for the OS and possibly a few games I play often for awesome load times :)

I must be about the only one who likes win 8.1 here. I had trouble's with 8 so glad they did the upgrade but it's been fine since and I prefer it over 7.

I got it on my surface RT and I'll have a Nokia 630 soon, an now I'm becoming a fan boy which is a worry. :yikes:

They both have there pros and cons.. and seems atm 9 could be a taking some from both.
