Best ways to share photos?

So now I'm taking a few pics and getting the hang of it, what are people's preferred ways of sharing pics?

There are a lot of photo sharing sites out there like flickr, photobucket, picasa, etc, but also, server deals are cheap as chips and although those sites offer free space, once you get to a certain limit they charge you an annual fee for more which is not far off the same as buying a domain name, some server space and setting up your own gallery site. There are free gallery scripts for displaying images or there are more dedicated packages like coppermine and there are several wordpress layouts specifically designed for photos too.

Any recommendations?

I still like flickr. Sometimes I pay for a pro account. But often the free account does the job.
