You might want to keep the old install also.. if you want to load a save file.

And the other part is a stabilizing brace.. no more bendy legs.

Maximum bend before destruction, nice spiral but still has 1 or 2 sets of couplers on at the end.

Looks cool. IT maybe time to give it another try :)
Edit: their site is nigh unusable though. They probably haven't appreciated the traffic they're getting with the update. Oh well, time to wait ;)

I know - I was ready to buy, but not to wait half an hour. Plus it's iffy if the transaction will properly complete with the site being hammered as it is.

I still play at least once a week.

You can do all the orbits and landings with just 9 stock parts.
One night I messed up my trajectory home from doing the Kerbin-Mun-Minmus-Kerbin run .. having a sun flyby orbit and ran out of fuel, so I just let it run 56 years later it all lined up and landed on Kerbin.

And if you want you could also mod it and add some other parts have a look at this, both for demo and retail.
http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/ind ... pic=4180.0" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

People with the retail version, go to your Config file and changes this.. more detail on the orbits, only thing you can not change from in-game.
CONIC_PATCH_DRAW_MODE = 1
CONIC_PATCH_LIMIT = 5

Current plan is to.. Kerbin-Mun-Minmus-Mun-Kerbin

I've been playing this game again after a considerable break from it. The updates have really made the game awesome and it's good just to be able to hop on and pretty much get up there every time. So far I've successfully landed the planes a few times and got into orbit twice. I might need to improve there since I seem to use too much fuel getting myself in the right orbit.

From here I'm probably going to have a go at making a space station. If you have only played up to 1.8, try it now. :)

I managed orbit a few times, landed a bunch of stuff on the Mun. Normally my projects are a bit too ambitious and fail dramatically from a structural point of view. Nowadays I when I play this I stream it live on Twitch TV. I used to play every day but it became less and less. I sometimes lose interest when the ships I make are too big for my PC to cope with, or get too complex that I can't get my head around working them.

I just realise why I'm more happy with it after that post. It can handle larger ships now. That said, my PC has been upgraded dramatically as well. Really helps a lot.

I look forward to when they enable the Unity 4(?) features.... I think it will release the potential with multi core support.
