Go after the council. That's not good enough.

I had the same problem about 10 years ago but took them to Bob Jane and they were able to straighten them back out. Cost a few hundred and a coat a spray afterwards but you couldn't tell...

All covered though insurance. Going to hit the council up for my excess so I'm not out of pocket.

I've got some nasty ones near my place that I dodge every morning and I just have stock rims.... Try to get the council to admit fault and flick it to you insurance company then it will become a not at fault claim ;)

Surely that is a risk you run if you use 35 profile tyres? There isn't exactly a lot of rubber between the road and the rim.

Don't bring your car down here Giz. :)

Bit of an update. Car is going great and racking up the km's. Just hit 73000km, it hasn't missed a beat and still feels brand new!

Got a Cold Air Intake for Christmas and it's made an amazing difference. Power delivery is so much more immediate and it pulls hard all the way to the red line (or so i've been told hehe). I'd soooo love an ECU tune to go with it however saving for a house means most expenses have to take a back seat for awhile.

https://tarmacengineering.com.au/index. ... f-r-intake" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I'll post some pictures over the weekend.

A family member wanted to be taken for a drive in the wet the other weekend. After 3 corners his face was white....lol. He said "Fuck, i wasn't expecting that!" I still get shocked with the amount of grip this car has in the wet, the chassis is so sorted, tyres are great and the 4wd system is king!

Nice dude. Wow - 73000kms already! With all this wet weather lately I wouldn't mind having AWD. Especially since the back end of my car is pretty bloody lively!

AWD is great fun in the wet, love how the back end will come out if you push it, but how easy it is to bring it back into line. Must be fun in the R Giz.

Shit dude... Sad that it has to go. If this was 12 months down the track i'd have snapped that up. I doubt you'll have an issue selling.

Hope you're ok by the way.

I sent you a PM nutty. I was going to list it on cars sales this weekend but I'll hold off until I hear from you. I'd rather see it go to somebody I know :)

Price Drop down to $33,500.

I'm not buying a new car for awhile. I paid over $60,000 for the Golf back in 2012. Seeing the list price now is just depressing. Someone will get themselves a ripper deal!

Funny you mentioned that. I'm flying to Sydney over the weekend to pickup a Clio RS 200 Cup Trophee as my next car. I thought yourself and Mick would approve :yes: 2011 model, I got a good deal :nod:
