How do I transfer my itunes library from one PC to another?

Just about to get a new PC and am wanting to transfer my 80 gig iTunes library from my laptop into this new PC. Any ideas how to do it?

Gets asked all the time if you google.

Basically you need to export the library and then import it again on the new PC.

Well that went off rather painlessly. Just installed iTunes on the new PC and then copied the iTunes folder from the My music folder on the lap top to the same location on the new rig. All of the almost 10,000 songs made it as well as the playcount and song ratings.

You go start > control panel > uninstall programs > uninstall itunes, then you download a decent music program :P

I believe you can also drop your lib ray file directly into iTunes and it will do the rest...
