With Bathurst coming up in less than 6 days, im keen as always to run around it. With the recent release of V8Factor UNleashed 1.1 i figured lets have our own "top 10" shootout.

just installed it again and did my first lap since iRacing came out. Been a long long time

Anyway, couldnt even activate rF so I sent off for a new code. Was able to do a lap in timed demo mode and I must say it was fun.

used my G25 for the first time with rF and loved being able to use the shifter again. That is where I lost interest in the iRacing. Once they took my shifter off me in the V8, I didnt like it anymore.

So it was great to do a lap of Bathurst. Great idea you put in my head Neil. Loved it. Did a clean 2.16 which was a good effort and then spun on my 2nd lap. Cant remember what I used to do. I first thought 2.12's but my lap tonight seemed way off the pace so maybe it was 2.09's???

i did a 2:10 So far, and it feels like im pushing like a mother... but the AI get down to 2:08's easily on 100% strength. I think the time is there, but just have to improve the setup. Im struggling with understeer on entry and power oversteer off.


I havent touched this mod since 1.0 when everyone was doing 2:06's back in the day. So who knows what it was!

Although these crack's are interesting in that they can cause random mechical failures more quickly in mods

Used it for 6 months without a failure.

you already have it Neil... it's the default setup

Thats a friggen awesome lap with the default setup then. its a mess that thing!

I'll have a look for you tonight to see if I can make it better.

Got down to a 2.07.501 - 6's aren't out of the question (Team BOC #6 Jason Bright)

It does feel alot better than the last version - but Bathurst always did feel better with V8Factor

Having never played rFactor, I thought I'd have a crack. Can't get past a 2.10! It's good for a blat though!

Well that blows my times out of the water...

But Neil... either of these should be good for low 9's.

Your killing it all the way from the cutting through to skyline. I just cant match your speed through there. I got down to a 2:08.9 but its still meh.
