F40 Replica? I think not.

Post by Big Kev »

Saw this in Autocar last week

Image

What planet is he on? £20,000 for that?
1 of only 3 factory moulded. Yeah but by who cos it certainly isn't ferrari
Easily pass as original. Yeah maybe to Stevie Wonder
Has ferrari on log book, mmm but in what context. It wont be the make and model
2L turbo which he says will get 550bhp! In what universe is that? And if it did it would probably only last for 30 seconds before exploding.
F1 number plate. mmm I bet it's like F123ABC

Price is a bit much.. but it would still be nice..

I have a joke for you. I have a prediction that you are going to walk into a bar, my prediction was wrong and your wallet is gone.

Didn't Koenigsegg (sp?) do a tuned F40 years and years ago with big arse intakes on the doors like that? I have seen something legit-ish with those intakes before... the lights and front of the car looks wrong though, front bar looks wrong as well. The F40 GTE had some different looking bits and pieces, but that certainly isn't right for one of them either.

The F40 is still the Ferrari I'd choose over all others if I had a choice...

....and shitloads of cash.

After looking at the first picture, I keep thinking of a Camaro front.

I found it on autotrader if you want to look at more pictures of this car which can 'easily be passed off as original'.

How wide are those rear wheels!? They're almost touching :D

Could sell it as a steamroller I guess.
