It's good to see them embracing bittorrent for distribution.
Incase you aren't aware, you actually have to pay to access the beta. They will offer full refunds if you don't like it though.

Whats the force feedback like. I never gelled with rF1 but im very tempted to give this a spin.

A lot of people aren't able to purchase / activate the game because of what I guess has something to do with too much traffic. I am one of those people

Re: rFactor 2 - Beta Released
From what I've read on the ISI forums the FFB is really good - but if you have a G25 or G27 it's a bit overpowered when you get off the trackKNAPPO wrote:Whats the force feedback like. I never gelled with rF1 but im very tempted to give this a spin.
Some dude reckons that his wheel is now broken as a result...
Sucks being at work while this is out, but hopefully the payment/activation issues are fixed before I download it

Re: rFactor 2 - Beta Released
interesting stuff going on.
in the iRacing forums its not looking to good, general consensus is its about worthy of rFactor 1.5
I also know a few people have requested refunds.

Re: rFactor 2 - Beta Released
I've gone for the refund option...I can't even start rf2 up, it crashes the computer *completely* (hard reset; the only program so far which can do this on win7!)
after 3 such resets (every time I try to get on track), thanks but no thanks

I'm having no real troubles with mine, just the rattle thing when on grass. Man that's annoying, and I hope I don't damage the motor in my wheel!

Wouldnt accept my credit card, then finally locked me out after a couple of attempts and sent me back to a screen saying my licence was pending payment completion and i would be emailed when that had occured.
Not a good start.....
