I'm not sure what/how that is. Can you explain that a bit more?
by the way the phone is an S5.
I've the volume controls on the left, the power on the right, and the 3 buttons below the screen: task switcher, the home and the back.
Surprise, no sig. Now there is. Or is there?

Cmon ysu, arent you in IT? Google it...
* Pull up the screen you want to capture.
* Press the power and home buttons at the same time. The power button is on the right edge of your S5 (when the phone's facing you) while the Home button is below the display. ...
* Go to Gallery to find your screenshot. ...
* Tap the Screenshots folder.

Ok, cool, I have probably found that one a while ago - it does not work, though. Not on the gps tracker (which is essentially just a map).
I've tried some screnshotter thingo as well, and similarly, its screenshot key-combo just didn't work.

Sorry, I'm quite baffled when it comes to mobiles, they are a different animal and there's just too much garbage around to make sense of anything.
Plus I'm usually very disinterested in anything mobile, I don't like mobile phones... I'm getting old, I'm afraid. :)

Eh, whatever, I think I'll just live with it. Or rather: without it. But thanks for the tips, gents.

Just to add... I too have the Samsung S5 and can confirm that the power and the home button pressed at the same time (with a little delay, long hold them both down for a while) takes a screenie for me...

Come on YSU, if Shtan can do it, you can. He helped Willy Wright get into the cockpit!

I've tried it again; depending on how I press the buttons either I go to home or turn the phone off. I've held the buttons 3-4 seconds, at that point even google's software has came on (long press for the home).

It does not work for me.

Edit: actually there's a slight blink before anything else happens...that might be it, however, I can't find any screenshots on the phone in my picture gallery. Where is it supposed to save it?

Here's a screenshot I took of my Navionics track from a dinghy race Ava and I were in on Saturday. Home and power worked for it. It's a good tracker program for Android Image

So if using the 'My Files' app:
Device Storage>Pictures>Screenshots.
Annoying that it doesn't show up in normal pictures...

I get a click sound and the image does a sort of fore and aft movement. Image ends up in the normal gallery.

I'm using x-plore for managing files, and have an SD card in as well (that's where the photos all go, normally)...on my file manager "/storage" is the sdcard's location to start with...and...drumroll... the built-in storage is '/sdcard' ! Fucking get over that one if you can.

Now the /sdcard/Pictures/Screenshots directory does exists, but it's empty, so my guess is that it does not happen.

Ok, I've made it happen. Don't ask me how; some online resources said "change the quick settings around and it will work". And guess what: it did.
Fucking love IT.

Anyways, here's my trip from sunday:

So nice to see the Georges ! I grew up at Oatley Bay and absolutely loved my time on the river as a kid in canoes and tinnies.

Thanks!
On shorter (~1hr) trips I can get 6.5km/h average, but I have stopped a few times on this one. And in the last half an hour or so I had to ease my bum off the seat a few times, it just went to sleep, hehe.

But if you go to races I'm sure you can get up to much faster speeds. What's your race speed?

Well. I've only seen smaller stingrays here in the lakes. I'm OK with not having crocs around, thanks :)

That was my first reaction, too :) It's quite large, about the size of a water melon.
