Fellow ARSEérs, your advice is needed!
My background in mobile phones is lacking. Currently my phone is OLD, basic text only, no camera, no net etc. . .
Help me choose a new phone!
I don't make alot of calls or text etc, but would like access to the net. We have wireless at home. Just bought a new point n shoot camera, so the new phone doesn't need to be a super-dooper camera. . .
So many phones available, so i'm really hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

What phone network (service provider) are you with? This may affect what phones you can buy.
But I'd always recommend an Android based phone.

Did you want to buy it outright or go on a plan?

Currently with optus, but I will be keeping this phone, so doesn't matter the provider. Home internet is aapt.
buying outright, yes I probably will.

My $0.02.
Just before Xmas I got one of these.
http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/product ... w=overview
I got it for $300.00 now around $260.00
I like it cos its waterproof, drop proof, and pretty indestructible.
It works well with clumsy fingers, has all the Android thingy's and fits small in the pocket.

You can even tie it to yourself if you happen to be the forgetful type.
