Ex-colleague from work (whom I'd arranged a glider flight for last year), left work to train as a helicopter pilot in NZ. He recently soloed and sent these pics.
Helicopter flying is mighty challenging I understand from talking to people who have done it, so this is quite an achievement after only a couple of months.
