This thread needed bigger guns and more noise. This should do it!

Norbs that was awesome.
I thought it was taken from a Google Street view backpack so I had to find out more.

I have some really good time lapse stuff from my road trips. But they are too big to upload to Youtube on my connection.

Ooooo road trip lapses. I did a drive to work once as a settings test but that was on a pretty average old phone. Ive done a few with my GoPro, last was my take off and landing of my flight from Adelaide to Melbourne. I shot it to show the kids altho it was shot in normal mode and sped up in post.

Now I have the Pixel 3a im planning using the time lapse mode to shoot a few x120 (20 mins = 10 seconds) lapses.

I plan on using the Hyperlapse on the Hero 7 during the trip to the Maldives next month.

I took these with the Hero 4...

I wasn't planning on watching all of that but I was mesmerised once it started spinning. I've discovered I really like things crafted from wood and resin.

There's a whole series of videos from someone who takes rusty old stuff like knives, vices, saws etc and makes them look like new. They're amazing to watch as well.

Hahahah, I've gone down this exact same rabbit hole.

Spent many hours watching wood working videos with resins and metal restoration videos. I also really like watching metal forging and blacksmith work, especially Damascus forging.

Me too - there's some great ones with restoration of old tools. I have a vintage 4-wheel railway trolley, with sleeper timber deck (starting to rot) and cast iron wheels. its awesome but the wheels are seized and i'd love to try to get it back to original condition. Beyond me though i reckon.

Sounds like the perfect project to justify some new power tools mate.
