My mate used to have a girl from school ring him from time to time for a chat, even though they weren't really good friends. Her dad had put a lock on the number 6 and his was the only number she knew that didn't have any numbers over 5.

That's amazing.
Also, the uncanny valley has my brain confused like this is some weird mashup of Tom Cruise and Paul Rudd. :D

That point where he gets to what you see above is fucking disgusting.

Watched Beau's videos for a couple of years now. Always an instant watch. Just recently picked up his book as well.

Oh wow, that was amazing. (not in a good way)

I followed the journey on Google Maps (sat view) to get a good insight to the surrounding area of the waterway as he passed roads, bridges ect.

This spot at 21:32 is fucked up!

Found this interesting. Shows how people are easily deceived and convinced about what they see.

I can't see how that design will pass legislation. Aside from the dubious pedestrian safety, it appears to have no fog lights.

It will never come to Australia (could never meet ADR) and I doubt it will even go into mass production. They may make a few that people will pay massively for, but its just a ridiculous, impractical nonsense.

Currently sits in the category of Tesla announcing vapourware to raise investment as far as I'm concerned, along with the haulage lorry and roadster.

This is up the street of a few on here
Guy got fed up with games not having realistic sounds so he designed an engine sim which replicates the noises of the actual components and makes them sound right.

Links in the description to an explanation video and the code itself so people can play.

Thanks Kev, I absolutely love stuff like this.

I remember back when West Racing were pretending to make the world's greatest racing simulator, they shared a simulated engine noise tool at the time (that somebody else had written I think).

At the time of sample-based sounds in sims, it sounded amazing but things got more sophisticated sounds and surpassed it.

This still has a synthetic quality to it but it's very close.

Another of those videos where someone hears a track for the first time and does the drums on it.
Only in this one he listens to it without a drum track and comes up with one based on the rest of the song. Amazing.
