Realtime flight tracking

Post by Big Kev »

This is kinda cool
http://www.flightradar24.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

It shows all the planes currently in the air and you can click on one and it'll show where it's going or where it's come from.

Zoom in on the USA. It looks mental!!

Found this too :yikes:

I've got Flight Radar 24 and Flight Track on my phone. It's cool to see a plane up in the sky and be able to instantly find out where it's going etc. Also Flight Board which links in with Flight Track to give you arrival and departure boards at airports.

I watched the brides flights from here to Spain last year. Was weird.

There's so many more planes flying around over here! Always something above you!

I'm always amazed when I go to Heathrow and see planes queuing up to land. I only learned a few years ago that Heathrow only has two runways so it's an incredible feat of management.

Edit: Just scrolled over to the US - :yikes:
