I have the same wheel Chaz (matti from the AAA comp) and you won't look back. The FFB is different to the MOMO's (I would say it's not as smooth) but back it off to 50% in windows (or the game) and you will find it gives more than enough of a kick.

The lengths we go to for a computer component huh! I had a mate who took his system away with him on holidays so he wouldn't miss a league race - and we're not talking a laptop either :D

But I'm sure there's many a person that's been there!

Are the momo pedals working at all Chaz? If you can get at least the accelerator working then it's pretty simple to sit it next to the new pedals and use it as a clutch

I actually put them back together after that. The accelerator worked perfect, but the brake was spiking and causing the wheel to do all sorts of shit. I then smashed them hard into the ground, and they dont work at all now :D

Backed it off to 50% in windows and put LFS at 100%, and bloody hell, thats fantastic. So damn smooth now, which allows for precise cornering. Thanks for the tip! :D

Guys remember when bargaining dont ask if they can give you a discount.

Tell them what price you will pay for them, and dont accept any in betweens. As long as its reasonable they will bend over to your wishes, especially if you make it look like you wont accept anything else.

Harvey norman are the best for this. Cutter you probably could have gone in and offered 250-280 and bought it for that.

They will try the guilt trip on you claiming that they arent marked up from wholesale etc but thats a load of crap, they all make huge profit margins!.

If its been in the shop 2 years then they would definately have no problem discounting and getting rid of it :).

I know a friend who walked in and told them he would take a 2500 computer for 1500. He had come in a few times so they knew he was really interested and didnt want to lose business with him so they accepted and he got 1grand off a computer!.

I love bargaining hehehe :)

WoW, thats a nice looking wheel.....

wishing MoMo came with heavy metal pedals...

Also not for me, but a mate has a slate floor, what would be a good way to stop them moving?

I suggested goto surf shop and grab some gorrila grip... but dunno if that'd work...

Back the 'master' off to 50%? or all of them in windows?

Only thing that might steer me away from that wheel, is the pedal base looks rather small... How big is the base compared to the momo base?

in my opinion, the thrustmaster pedals are about 5 times better than the momos, base is fine for me
