It's quite probably bullshit but there's some rumours around that they are intending to basically wipe out the new trilogy, it all happens in some mirror universe that Palpatine transports to prior to dying in the Death Star. Personally I've long felt they need to do something like this, remove these movies from cannon and start again.

I just got a free 6 month subscription to Disney+ from my mobile provider. Is Mandelorian worth watching?

The Mandelorian is great. It's gritty compared to the movies and gives hope that there is so much they can do with the stories.

First episode was promising. Some nice little references to the series with characters and robots in the back of shots. I'll try and get the rest watched soon.

OK I have a question about the Millennium Falcon layout (just watching TFA!).

To get to the gunning placements you have to climb down a ladder. From the gun seat, there is a glass dome in front of you, but that is on the very top or bottom of the MF. So when you get off the ladder you would be standing on that dome for the bottom placement. How you then get yourself in to the seat which clearly has the ladder tunnel going away from you in the background? :)

Been a while since I was a bone fide star wars nerd but from what I remember, in the EU stuff of old it was explained that the artificial gravity switched in the guns turrets - you'd climb from above and then angle the seat however and gravity would stay seat normal as such.

This is likely the most anticipated Stars Wars stories / series ever. Wonder if it will live up to the hype?
