This seems pretty cool, ill start doing it once I get my timing chain replaced.

Not going to lie though, I use a lot of fuel... V6, Avg L/100km right now with the trip metre on 1400kms is 15.9/100km.

Wow - a bit above the combined average! Even a bit above the quoted urban use for a Commodore isn't it?

That's the good thing about a small, light car. I give it a damn good flogging from time to time but I still don't ever see anything above 10L per 100kms.

Yeah, that also includes a few drives in the hills though... And I wouldn't exactly say I was taking it easy.

I can get it down to about 8.4 which is what I got when I went to Canberra. But I have mates with L98s that get better than that haha

I have been to lazy to go to the admin panel and grab it. Post it in a reply and it will go up quicker than a MX5 driver applies his lippie.

I spent half of my last tank in 2nd or 3rd gear on a "spirited" drive. Still couldn't get it to read more than 11L per 100kms hehe.

I see 15l or more on spirited driving. Evidentally I missed a fuel up so it has me at 7l for the last one. Need to fix that up.

I had an odd moment where on the drive back from Canberra, my car was reading 3.7L/100km and I wasn't exactly going slow (115kph on the Hume Hwy). I averaged 4.6L/100km for the +400km trip back via half the blue mountains... sipping fuel. Then I have moments where I average 9-10L/100km around town so it varies up in driving.

I don't think I'll be getting lower than norbs with fuel consumption. ;)

Eek i knew it was a bad week when it was over 40L to fill up and i had only done 237kms since the last fill up, fuelly called it 17.2L/100km/h. Must've been a fun 237kms then :D

Just had a look back through my entries and the price for petrol has only moved by 1c in the last two months! That's 98 unleaded but still - doesn't seem like the price is particularly volatile at the moment.

Price:
1.539
1.457
1.469
1.449
1.619
1.619
1.519
1.559
1.560

I see a fair fluctuation in 98 Price around here. I do tend to stop at a few different branded servo's, I try to keep it mostly BP Ultimate as there is a servo fairly close to mine and on the way to almost everything.

The average price I've had is $1.59 for 98 unleaded. Doesn't move too much but when it does it's normally about 6-10c/L difference

Over 7 fill ups, the lowest I've had was 1.649 and the highest 1.659. So one cent variation. Of course, that could be due to us being gouged in Canberra to start with!
