I grabbed the demo last night, I tend to agree I found it to be hopless in comparision to simular games.

Well, it was a multiplayer test beta rather than a demo so yeah, wait until a proper demo and don't base anything off the test.

Hopefully the pre-order won't be like LFS S2 - what is it now? A year? And still no full release!

Really guys ... as sim racers I thought you'd know the demo was only a multi-player test.

The physics is not the same as in the full release.

The demo is NOTHING like the final product--I played both the demo, and the RC and they are light years apart.

Keep in mind, the demo was merely to test MP code and stability--most of the bells and whistles were disabled, or not in the code--nor were they intended to be.

The full product is simply amazing, not sure what else to say.

Yeah I never even bothered with the MP test demo, I want to try the proper demo before I decide to buy this game. Kinda curious that the demo won't be out till after the release, or have I misunderstood something and they'll be released at the same time?

Fair enough too. Pays to be cautious with some crap releases about.

It seemed the pre-pay function was as a result of some RSC people wanting to use pay-pal where there can be 3 days delay between transferring the money meaning they would be able to play day 1.

Personally, I've coughed up the money ... if it lives up to half the hype I'll still be happy.
