How many of the big riders come down under for this race? Do we get the same names as TDF? I don't recall Armstrong coming here earlier in his "career"

depends on how you define "big rider" .. we'll likely never get the uber climbers since there's not much for them here, but the sprinters come out to play, as do TdF GC contenders. The current world champion, Philippe Gilbert, is here.. I would put that in the big name category A look through the results here shows a number of names familiar to those that watch the TdF.

I love you guys more and more for your directness ... the don't drive like a cock campaign is great. It might as well encompass all other road safety campaigns as generally, they can all be categorised as 'being a cock' to one extent or another.

Nice shots both of you, some nice pans Norbs - but I think the elderly gent running alongside the race is great - maybe a bike to give it context would have made it even better but in context like this, it's sweet ...

Were these from out the front of the Woman's & Children's Hospital? Looks very familiar...

I wasn't expecting the TDU to have a stage out the front of the hospital today, took me 25 mins of going down closed off roads to find a way into the pay car park on Kermode St to bring the wife home.

yep, all those shots were taken just outside the hospital, on the corner.

Sweet as. When we left it looked as tho the event was still some time from starting as people were still rocking up. I asked a police man when time the road closures were up till and he said 6pm.
Think we were out of there by lunch time, 12:30 ish. If the stage was run in the early morning we would have had a birds eye view of that corner from the 4th floor.
