The Ferrari LaFerrari
Well, the F150 has got the dumbest name of any Ferrari (the Ferrari TheFerrari??) but it looks the part.

Chris Harris still loves Ferraris (check out his drive of a 458 recently and remember he even owns a 599). It's more that Ferrari doesn't like him.avro707c wrote:Stop right there! You can't like it. Remember, Ferrari isn't cool - the whole Chris Harris v Ferrari thing!!
Started another thread on this before I saw this one...
I like it. Carries more punch than the P1 I reckon. Especially on the inside.

Re: La Ferrari
Embargo lifted and first reviews in! Pretty much as good as we expected. Getting all three hypercars in a comparison will be an effort.

Like that Active aero package, and the power fill getting the best of both.

Re: La Ferrari
From those videos the P1 had the journo's alot more excited, would that because the P1 was the one that moved the goalposts first, while the Fez is only an 'incremental' improvement? Both EVO and Autocar refused to compare the 2 in their videos, to keep the Ferrari marketing department happy perhaps?

Steve Sutcliffe wrote a good article here about the embargoes. Sounds a right pain!9ra55h0ppaH wrote:Both EVO and Autocar refused to compare the 2 in their videos, to keep the Ferrari marketing department happy perhaps?

Of the 3, the only one that leaves me cold is the Porsche. I'd have the other two though. Not sure why. Maybe because it doesn't look as supercar-y as the others.

I think the P1 looks much better, more insane hypercar, but of course that's subjective

Re: La Ferrari
I'm a Porsche man so if I had the money I'd go for the 918. However as I'm theoretical filthy rich I get what I want, so I'd go for a bespoke model.
Tear out all the electric crap, save damn near half a tonne. Tear out the fancy gearbox and stick a proper manual in. Save another 100KG or so. All of a sudden you've got 600 + Horses in a car weighing less than a tonne. Weapon!
Yet they'll try and say it'd be slower. Bullshit!

I'll vote for the Ferrari looking better but I'm a one eyed Ferrari fanboi. Strange to be a fan of something I'll likely never own.

Re: La Ferrari
Ferrari looks a bit long and bloated to me in profile but front on and the rear three quarter look better than the McLaren.

Re: La Ferrari
Apparently Ferrari are already working on an XX version of the LaFerrari? I wonder if that's because they already know they've been beaten by the P1?

Re: La Ferrari
Very true! But I can guarantee that neither want to be outdone. And the comparisons will constantly be made because of how similar they are.

Re: La Ferrari
LaFerrari FXXK track special!
The FXX K name refers to the car's KERS kinetic energy recovery system, which works in conjunction with the standard car's 6.3-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine to produce a total system output of 1021bhp and more than 664lb ft of torque. That's 71bhp more than the standard LaFerrari, with 835bhp coming from the V12 engine and 188bhp from the electric motor.
