I think I have engineering. Though it might be turned off at the moment due to some monetary concerns :)

Took the plunge and bought through ozgameshop - how long did it take for them to send the key?

I bought it on Friday with the intention of playing on the weekend and I haven't received anything so far

:D I nearly broke my city last night... I'm living on the edge at the moment. I'm in the red about 50k an hour but making processors, TVs and computers to keep the cash rolling in. I had a moment where I had to shut down pretty well everything to make it though a couple of hours before the next trade money came in.

I'm trying to get the arcology (spelling?) thing up and running. I've got all the TVs it need and most the metal, but need ore.. That's only phase 1 of 2 though. I'm not sure what it will need next.

When I started I got a message about the archology but skipped it because I didn't know what impact it would have. I assume once it's going people just contribute resources until it's built?

ozgameshop email the keys during UK business hours. I ordered mine Friday morning and got the key 3am Saturday morning. Maybe check your spam folder etc? If not, maybe you'll have it tomorrow morning.

Looks like the region is divided into 4 and you can only contribute to the great work in your quarter. Only one I could do with just my city is the solar array.

I replaced commercial to add police, fire, hospital to stop protests. Then upgraded land value so large areas upgraded from low density to med/high and my population went down 30k :?

Now my problem is that I spread my placed buildings around to help land value and I have to wipe them to upgrade the streets. I should have built with all high density roads. I replaced 2 streets and 1/2 my industry went bust because I lost skilled workers. lol

You can upgrade roads without destroying them. Or did you mean from streets to avenues?

I tried. Nothing happens to the road. I've also tried going low->med->high but nothing happens. I want to redo my whole city anyway. Too many intersections in my shitty layout.

My budget says -12,000 Profit/Loss +650,000 transactions = 333,000 Monthly profit + transactions. dafuq happened to the other 300k?

I saved up nearly $1M and 20 mins later I get told I'm broke and have to shut down a bunch of stuff. WTF happened to my money?

Also, if you use coal power plants make sure your coal mine doesn't lose power in a brown out caused by not delivering enough coal. I had to build a nuclear plant to get things going again :)

You can not upgrade it all, or you will have no unskilled workers to work.. and then the population drops from lack of open shops.

I couldn't find where to do that and I couldn't find you in the friend browser :(

I found the road upgrade button. I was trying to just lay a higher density road over the top of the other one.

The meltdown was not overly exciting, I think it was pretty small only contaminated just under a 1/4 of my town....... The issue now is being radioactive in that area it is pretty much stuffed.......

Claimed a bit of land down the road and gifting myself some funds to get up and running and will abandon that place in a few days
