I have the Z3 compact as well. You're right Neil, sooooo slippery!!!

I grabbed one of these: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/IMAK-Crystal ... 27efe4a2d1

Works really well, is super thin and best of all, gives the phone some grip.

As for a screen protector this is what I use.. Gorilla Glass same as what most screens are made of.

35 for a screen protector...

Can you use that over the top of a skin though?

Yes for nearly all cases, I am sure there would be an odd one out there..only a mm or so slight bump.

But it is also a life time warranty, you are more likely to replace the device before anything happens to it.

and now my phone is red. Winner.

feels funky... but its cool. it doesnt line up properly on the speakers its a little out. top speaker i lined up perfect, the screen lines up great then the bottom speaker is off. it should be higher by about half a mm or so. its noticable.

dbrand skins are cool, and easy as to place.

Fark. Took my case off to put on a screen protector, only to find the back is smashed. Must have cracked while in my back pocket. First time this has ever happened to me - note to self, get a better case.

Was that one of the custom ones I told you about Smiss? :(

I know I dont use my phone like a lot of you, but this is still pretty damn impressive. I have spent a bit of time talking on it the past 2 days.

Leave it on the charger for a while Neil, if the battery is dead flat it can take a little time before it will shows signs of life again.

Yeah it eventually started charging. But what threw me was it charged a bit in my car. Then when I got home nothing for about an hour. Then I unplugged and plugged a different cable in and away it went.

I'm starting to think you may be wanting too much from a smart phone Neil, how about a Telstra Dave?
