Impressive tech demo

Post by Woodee »

I like the look of this, not sure the full game would be my cup of tea but the tech demo is pretty clever with the deformable terrain, mud and water physics.

Give it a go.

Thats very cool. Not sure about their kickstarter set up though - 40 pounds to get a copy of the game seems a bit steep

It's only 20 pounds to get a digital copy of the game.

If you can leave two black stripes from the exit of one corner to the braking zone of the next, you finally have enough horsepower.

I spent probably way more time than was required driving around in the tech demo. I thought it was cool. Not too sure how realistic it is (given that I've never driven an 8 wheeler truck through mud) but the terrain transformation was certainly good.

Looks good, probably the 1st decent looking off road game I've seen in a long time, might kick in some money in the hope it makes it along, I've been longing for a modern day Screamer 4x4 forever, this isn't quite the same genre but it looks promising.

Grab the old 2011 tech demo from http://www.oovee.co.uk/spintire-download-mirrors/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Its got a bit more to do, but it is a little dated now and missing some of the shiny things this tech demo has, but its good fun.
