Defeated by an Iceberg. Is their party officially a sinking ship now?

Yep.
They're very divided. After Brexit they have a mix of pro- and anti-brexit fans. There is also a large group of posh Eton school types (friends of Boris) who are quite happy as long as they have money and sod everyone else. There is a group who want a slow steady economic growth (Rishi Sunak who was defeated by Liz Truss in the last vote) and then a set who want hard and fast growth with tax cuts (Liz Truss) and lets just ride it out!

Their main advantage at the moment is that they are pretty much the only ones who can call a general election (before the enforced date of the next one at the end of 2024).

The opposition parties (largely labour and then smaller groups of the SNP [Scottish nation party who hate the tories because they keep blocking another Scottish independence vote and who put us through Brexit when Scotland voted overwhelmingly against it and so have been taken out of europe against their will], liberal democrats, greens, Welsh and Irish parties etc) are all calling for a general election because they know Labour will win by a landslide, but they can't really do that. They have no say on when the election is held. The only chance they have is to call a vote of no confidence in the government in parliament but they have to win that vote and they don't have a majority over the tories. So they would need to get at least 36 (I think) conservative MPs to agree that there is no confidence in their own party to swing the vote. And of course they're not going to do that because they would likely lose their seat in the election. It's like voting to lose your own job!

So we're having another go at picking another PM and hopefully this time it'll give us some stability (as long as it's not Boris again!).

And the irony is that one of the main motivations for Cameron to call the Brexit referendum was to try and appease the Euro-sceptics in the Tory party and therefore unite the party.

And if these dopey twats put Boris back in, you might as well wave goodbye to the UK as a world power.

My favourite Tony Abbott moment was when he was thinking of buying all the old fishing boats from our neighbouring Asian countries to stop the refugees coming over. That'd be like Biden buying all the old shoes in Mexico to stop them running over the border.

Nope, that jug eared c**t is an embarressment to all Australians.

https://www.theguardian.com/business/gr ... -economics

He also appointed himself Minsiter for Women, despite being deeply rooted in the 1950s head space.
"What the housewives of Australia need to understand as they do the ironing is that if they get it done commercially it's going to go up in price and their own power bills when they switch the iron on are going to go up," Mr Abbott said at the time.
Didnt want to get his daughters vaccinated against cervical cancer.

Made prince Phillip a Knight!

And I think tells you all you need to know about the c**t.
