Unless he plans to crush it and send the proceeds to a survival charity, its unbelievably poor judgement. Just mind boggling.. If it goes on public display I hope its within spitting distance.

Just shows even reasonably clever people can be fucking dumb.

Firstly, who has smart meters on their taps?

Next, where is that water going to go? Storm water means localised flooding. Sewer, well, good luck there.

When phrased, "A question for the hydrologists..." perhaps it is just that. A question. Not everyone is cloaking their self-assessed internal brilliance by "I'm just asking questions", sometimes people are just asking questions. It isn't unreasonable to expect that she might well get a qualified answer to the question too.

I wonder if they've been making use of the 50MW hydro-electric generator in the basement they have at Warragamba during all this. I remember my old-man taking us there and showing us around when I was a kid. He worked for the NSW Electricity Commission and had keys to the place.

Got to wonder about this sort of thing. Surely they realise people have cameras these days.

A woman on the radio a couple days ago said they rolled into her small NSW town, spent a day doing photo ops and filming themselves and didn't help anyone at all. Will look good in the election campaign I guess.

Dickhead is in trouble if this is the reporting on Sky.

The media did a big about face when they knew the war criminal Howard was struggling. Looks like they are abandoning the LNP now.

They will rally behind the LNP when the election happens. Don't worry about that, they wont risk a Labor gov.

You're absolutely right. The media will spin to independents who are LNP anyways. I've noticed a few have left LNP and shown up as independents.
With fuel through the roof at the moment, media will be blaming Labor for it.

Not knowing the price of bread and milk is one thing, but to suggest single mum's will get rental relief by buying a house is so monumentally out of touch it beggars belief.

https://www.news.com.au/finance/economy ... d38e5055e7
Today host Ally Langdon pointed out on Wednesday morning that while it was being touted as a cost-of-living budget, it included nothing to help many Australians struggling with rising rental prices.

However, the Prime Minister suggested the way to solve rental affordability was by boosting rates of home ownership.
State of the Nation Survey

“(The) best way to support people who are renting a house is to help them buy a house. And over the last three years, we've got over 300,000 Australians directly in their own home and particularly single mums,” he told Nine.
