Re: Next Car Game
Good stuff.. as long as it is not like the last 2 games in the series.
Some play it safe on the merry-go-round, others go for the thrills of the roller-coaster.

I have a joke for you. I have a prediction that you are going to walk into a bar, my prediction was wrong and your wallet is gone.

Re: Next Car Game
It's pretty fun Shaun. A long way from complete, but they are adding stuff all the time.
I'm really interested to see how all the tires and shit flying everywhere work in online.
Anyone got a night they are free to test it out? I'm good most evenings, except Wed.

Re: Next Car Game
Haha! Yes, well then you wouldn't be interested, there's a lot of that. The figure 8 track makes it almost impossible to race. Get too far in front you start to overlap with the back markers. Too far behind and you get cleaner up by the leaders.
It's basically crashing with some racing thrown in. However, online with a few blocks would probably play completely differently. I think it would be a great alternative to the more "serious" sim side.

Re: Next Car Game
Yeah im all for that type of fun hard crashy racing, but when you get spat out over fences and it completely destroys any chance of a come back... there will usually be one car that breaks free and can just leg it and take the win. all Luck.

Yeah. It's more about having fun than winning in this game.

Re: Next Car Game
It is just the continuation of Flatout series, if you have not played them.. the First one was probably the better one in my view.
Nice arcadey racer, the video about was about showcasing the engine.

Re: Next Car Game
The latest update has made multiplayer 10x better. Had a 16 car race yesterday online and 95% of the race was smooth and glitch free:)
A lot more fun than racing the AI:)

My library is overrun with early access stuff that seems to never complete!
Seems that they are still progressing though, just no actual updates: http://nextcargame.com/blog/

There is meant to be a update soon, they had to rewrite the game code.

Re: Next Car Game
Big update out and its kinda fucked the game for me.
64 bit gives me a uncontrollable mouse in the menus, alt tabbing out used to fix it but now it crashes the game.
Cannot bind any buttons on my steering wheel now either.
Disappointing update seen how long it has taken:(
