Found a free dash thingy for external displays. You can customize it as well and it's web based so it's device independent.

Thanks Darren. Will give that a go tomorrow.

durstboiler has released his conversion of Aosta from netKar Pro to Assetto Corsa. http://www.assettocorsa.net/forum/index ... sed.11168/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Originally released for netKar Pro in September of 2009, Circuito di Aosta is a fictional circuit, located in the Aosta Valley in Italy. Featuring 15 configurations, the track injected some needed variety into netKar Pro, which was severely limited in tracks. Featuring picturesque landscapes and challenging layouts, Aosta quickly became a fan favorite.

As of right now, only the Grand Sport configuration is available. More layouts will be added in the future, however, it is unlikely that all fifteen layouts will be converted. The conversion is also raw and unoptimized, so technical hiccups may arise. It is requested that any issues will be reported in the track’s official thread.

Found a bunch of conversions at race department. Most of them are 1/2 arsed and look crap but there's a version of Oran Park, Bathurst and Phillip Island there. Hard to go back to after the iRacing versions.

I too discovered them yesterday Darren. As you say many are rF1 conversions with most getting pretty bad reviews. But there's a couple of tracks there that get favourable comments which I'm going to check out.
I think you'll find the good ones have been converted after the AC track mod tools were released.

Together with the Assetto Corsa Update 0.20, Kunos Simulazioni released the highly anticipated Assetto Corsa car editor. This editor will enable modders to start working on the game part of their custom build cars. The AC editor features the car exporter, including the 3D pipeline documentation, a 3D driver template and a 3D geometry with hierarchies.

The Kunos Development team also added the Formula K car with open physics as a template car. This way modders will have a starting point to begin editing in their own car modding projects. The template car can be found in the sdk/dev folder. As we have seen with the track editor, Kunos Simulazioni also supplied a tutorial video to make it a little easier to start your own project.

I tried both La Sarthe & Nordschleife today & have to say they are both pretty damn good even though they are straight conversions from other sims.

La Sarthe is damn impressive with the only things I really noticed was the trees need work & also the track edge on the 1st part of Mulsanne has a significant lip, not sure if it is like that irl.
If AC just had draft physics this would be even more awesome. :D

I tried two versions of snoopy's Nordschleife both are very polished. v0.93 suffers with some large bumps here & there & is heavy on FPS. While v0.94 is 20FPS better but the track texture doesn't look as good, looks smoother & I also found the track to be more slippery than v0.93. Jason from ISR have just posted this drive test of v0.93.

snoopy has updated Nürburgring Nordschleife to v0.9.8 with the following changes.

-completely new layout much closer to real life
-trees fixes
-texture fixes
-2d treeline trees not so 2d anymore
-no cams files for now (22.06.2014)
-smoothed most of the big bumps
-A.I. file attached

I'll be giving it a go asap.

Nice that stuff is coming along but that really looks horrible compared to the standard content. I know it's only an early release but I'd much rather people just released a finished product.

They probably need the public beta testers. I don't mind, I don't care; I'm usually leaving these on the side exactly until it's worthy of attention. :)
