AGU Modding has released the 2016 Audi R8 GT3 for Assetto Corsa, bringing a new current-gen GT3 car to the simulation.
Based on a model made by Shadowworks and sounds from Fonsecker, this first version of the mod will be improved with future releases as more features such as improved physics, interior graphics and more are yet to come.
Introduced in 2015, the second-gen Audi R8 GT3 replaced the hugely successful R8 GT3 LMS that has been winning GT3 races around the globe since 2009.

Changelog
Fixed start-finish timing gate issues where it was possible to not register a lap in pits if too far to one side.
Fixed sector 1 and 2 timing gates where it was possible to not register a lap if off track.
Removed black flag penalty for 4 wheels out on exit of Club Chicane – start finish line was too close to slow down and black flag was too harsh.
Adjusted penalty for cutting track at Club chicane to just 2 secs as it’s easy to be pushed off here.
Fixed grid spacing positions as cars were way too close together on first release.
Fixed non physical tyrewall on outside of Village corner where cars could pass through.
Removed flying tire stack at world centre.
Fixed incorrect track length in UI description.
Made a few cosmetic changes to textures to match recent changes at the circuit.
Updated textures to kerbs with proper specular and detail maps – still work in progress.
Updated textures on many buildings.
Added camera facing crowds.
Added many other trackside objects and infield buildings.
Opened for motorsports in 1950, Thruxton Circuit is located on a former Royal Airforce airfield. The 3.8 kilometer track incorporates 11 turns and hosts various national series such as the British Formula 3, the British GT as well as the world-famous BTCC series.
Based on the real thing. Is great fun to drive in the right car.Jamo wrote:That circuit looks magnificent!!!

Creative community members Won & Joshkerr released their Winter Nords mod for Assetto Corsa.
The V1.1 Winter Nords mod changes 90% of all the track textures of the Assetto Corsa Nordschleife track to give it a winter atmosphere. Won and Josh did not cut any corners as they have reworked literally every texture part of the track. The vegetation, asphalt, fences, posters, structures, buildings, vehicles, marshals and much more, are all transformed into parts of an icy cold winter wonderland.
Won & Joshkerr also provided an optional alternative “surfaces.ini” file which changes the grip levels of the track surface and turns the Nordschleife asphalt into a slippery ice circuit. Get ready for some sideways action. (The original surfaces.ini is also included to be able to revert back to the normal setting.)
The texture part of the track is fully compatible with online racing, and will also work with apps such as RSR Time Live or SRS. Needless to say that using the edited surfaces.ini is not.

Installation:
Remember: Before installing – please remove prior version completely.
Unpack the .rar file into the main AC folder. Run JGSME.exe and activate the Winter Nords Texture Mod, Sliding Ice Asphalt or both.
We include the original surfaces.ini for all variants in case you want to return to the normal grip levels.
It is highly recommended to uninstall the “Autumn Nords” if you have it activated.
If you have installed the RBS (Real Billboards & Stuff) mod, you will get a message stating that certain content has already been added. Don’t worry about anything. Just click “YES”.
To uninstall any of the mods and get Assetto Corsa back to the default content, run JSGME.exe and un-check the active mods.
It's been released, why do you need to ask? :Pnorbs wrote:GT VIRUS wrote:Really hoping this is the car for tonight http://www.racedepartment.com/downloads ... -17.13928/
