Might have to have a crack at this sort of thing every new release.
or even two!
The F40 at Vallelunga is a hoot, it's really tricky to get it right in that car. And there aren't many setup options to tweak...
Surprise, no sig. Now there is. Or is there?

I ran default set. Think I set that on my 10th lap in a row. Forgot to save replay to.

Bah, too much time away from sim racing has made me slower than I ever was, best I could manage was a about 2:09 on this combo.

Don't panic mate, there will always be me to race.
I haven't had the wheel out since I moved to the South coast.

I was like that initially, I couldn't get under 2.08 and then I started getting more aggressive, cutting the chicanes a bit more and braking later and it started happening. I'm still nowhere compared to the quick guys but I'm fast enough that I'll be able to race someone when multilayer comes out.

This is a pig of a combo. The 2-11 isn't my cup of tea yet as it isn't very predictable lap after lap... :o

the green light means the lap is valid, not that your online. If you go off track itll go red.
You could have cut the track by accident? I have done that

I reckon Neil has it. I cut the Ascari chicane a bit too much and it red lighted the lap.

Ah ok maybe but I know I never got the in - game slow down penalty.
Any way I did get a 2:03.89 which gets me 10th on the record table.

Unfortunately, the in game slow down penalty doesn't need to come up for the lap to be invalid.

Very interesting, I'd say that is what happened with that 2:03.7 & 2:04.6 laps then.
Now I'm wondering what game data the Live Timing App monitors to trigger an off-track penalty & why it would be different to the in-game penalty system.
