I've owned this 2003 RX8 for just over 12 months now & I've put 3,500 ks on it in that time, so it now has 13,300 ks on the clock.
I only ever take it out for a purposeful drive & I love it. :)
Originally I thought I would only cruise but it just begs to be revved & I always hold second & third gears so I can hear it sing.
It's stock but with 177kw @ 1340kgs it has plenty of get up and go & handles incredibly well.

My daily driver is a 2008 Camry which I know everyone makes fun of, but it really has to be one of the best & most practical cars I've ever owned. I'm sure I will be a Camry owner for life.
It has more interior & boot room than my old VR SS Commodore & with the East/West engine it's still really quite short. Of course it's not a drivers car but it performs daily duties much more adequately.
I'm probably going to update to a 2013/14 hybrid next year.

The newer mid sizes are just as large or more then some of the 90's large cars of the day.

IF it gets you A to B and to C, it works.

Also a bit under 1000k on the CBF250, since the other week.

As much as modern day turbo torque is a fantastic thing for daily driving, nothing beats being up top in a free revving naturally aspirated engine. It's why I lust after an E46 or E90 M3. A 991 GT3 with its 9000rpm redline would be nice too...

My Impreza RS. Haven't really done much to it. All stereo stuff really. Alpine head unit, kicker 6" splits in the front, 6" rears, kicker amp, and cadence amp and sub.

There's a few things I'd like to do to it, but I have other things to spend money on. I absolutely love driving it, there could be a little more power, but the handling and grip always makes me smile.

Oh, image taken at Albert Park lake :)

High-roof transit, named "Migaloo".

Has a hot shower, toilet, bed and 200L of water under the bed.

I've redone the electrics. It now has 2 x 100Ah AGM batts, charging off a solar panel on the roof and the alternator.

Done about 20000 kays in it so far. Been up and down the Queensland coast a few times, Phillip Island, seen a lot of NSW, and to Canberra.

On our way up to Central Qld again for work atm. Been a pretty fun lifestyle.

'94 Hilux Surf. I've got a new set of tyres on, and had some new heavy duty springs in the rear since this photo.. it was sagging pretty bad when loaded up. Haven't done much in the way of improvements, more so repairs lately! :(

Currently a trusty 80 series Cruiser, will retire it when funds permit as I need a ute for work, gets me out and about towing the accommodation behind me.

VY SV8. Only has 110,000km on it which is good for its age.

Manual
Everything done to it short of Forced Induction. Have no plans for it either, got more than enough power for the street :driver:

It was my first and only time out there and only had 3 runs.

I think it was a.13.8 @ 110mph. Heaps more left in it but being so stupidly low in the rear makes launching incredibly difficult and my 60' times were shithouse. Will go again in a month or 2 when the temparatures are cooler and throw some stock springs in the rear. Will get into the 12's easy.

Manuals are so painful at the drags, my auto ss ran 12.9 @ 112mph and that was just exhaust intake tune and diff gears, my mates cammed manual ss which has 60rwkw more ran 13.44 @ 103mph so goes to show more power isnt always useful, especially if u cant drive lol. Not saying you cant either tim just my mate lol

Ill be the first to admit i cant launch it for shit. I dont practice launching on the street. So ive gotta learn at the track. Only.doing 3 runs a year im hardly gonna improve haha. Still heaps of fun though getting to 170-175km/h

I'd rather have a functional clutch than learn how to launch my car.

Ever just washed your car at a car wash and when you leave, your tyres squeak from being wet on the road and get pulled over?

I always intentionally wax them for some "accidental " fun leaving the car wash ;)

If you can leave two black stripes from the exit of one corner to the braking zone of the next, you finally have enough horsepower.

Auto can be just as fun as manual when you're in a car putting 500kw+ at the wheels running a 2 speed glide :D

I've never really cared much about how many kws a car can put down on a dyno (specially all those disney dynos), 1/4 mile is where you really see how good a car and the shop it came from really is  thats a decent time for a N/A car these days though

A fun car for me has little to do with power or straight line speed. That's fun for a couple of days for me, but I'd have more fun in a little manual hatch or the like any day of the week. Each to their own though I guess.
