Has any one come across a yellow skeleton archer?



A mate sent this to me.. I can not find anything about it.. from a stock Pc install.

I'm guessing it's a skele in gold armour?

hes wearing armor. and its a zombie.

Has any one else came across them in game before?

Normally see them a fairly often so either your friend hasn't played much or he's been playing too much peaceful mode

Zombies and skeletons can spawn with any type of armour and it can also be enchanted. Skeletons can also spawn with enchanted bows. When you kill them you have a random chance of getting a piece of the armour or the bow. It's the only way you can get chainmail in non-creative game modes. I think they're more common on higher difficulty levels.

If you die and drop the armor/weapons you had they will collect it.
