Yeah but if you are out there for 120 minutes and barely bother attacking and trying to score, you get what you deserve.Vilante wrote:

Neither side deserved to go through today but one team had to. I had a feeling that it was all over for the Oranje after they scraped through with their substitute keeper for their shootout against Costa Rica. Also remembering that Australia almost nearly showed them up too in a convincing display.Vilante wrote:

Well done Germany... they deserved to win after the rooting they gave Brazil.

That was a fantastic send off for the world cup this year. Both teams were pretty shaky, Germany really should have been down a goal or two but I'm glad they got the winner. If I was a gambling man, I would have won some money on them taking the cup home.
Bit of an aggressive game with the tackles and challenges.
