GPS tracker&logger recommendations please
Gents I'd like to ask if you guys have experience with any gps tracker programs, what's a good one?
I want to be able to remotely follow my phone - we have visitors sometimes from o/s and one is prone to get lost a bit (old age and a willingness to explore...)
I'd like her to have the phone with this app on so we can follow where she goes...real time, or with minimal lag. I need a web interface or something where I can map her travels out.
Do you guys know if any app is good here?

Used both.. work as in the description.
There are others out there.

I have a joke for you. I have a prediction that you are going to walk into a bar, my prediction was wrong and your wallet is gone.

Re: GPS tracker&logger recommendations please
oops, indeed, forgot to mention; Android . I seem to forget often, that Apple exists...:/
Thanks for the recommendation. One question, what else have you tried and how this came to the top?
P.s. the amount of access it requires is astounding...and crazy. Why does it require acess to my photos, camera/microphone, device & app history and in-app purchases for example?!?
Edit: how the hell do I track this on google maps or anywhere? I can't figure it out.
Is there any option for that?

According to the reviews, the android app is a copy of this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... safetymapd" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

If it's an Android Device, couldn't you just use Googles own Device Manager?

From what I can tell, it needs GPS enabled constantly to track the phone.
It just found my Tablet. Within a 10m radius

That's cool - like ysu I didn't know about it. GPS is off on my phone and it found it to within a 25m radius. GPS is on on my tablet and it got it to within 17m. Very handy - thanks for the tip!r8response wrote:From what I can tell, it needs GPS enabled constantly to track the phone.

Re: GPS tracker&logger recommendations please
Mind you, it does not track. Or if it does I dunno how
I've tested the other app, and it gives me a tracking of sorts of my path, but within the ~20 points drawn, there were 4 that were way off the chart, kilometers away!.
So, sadly, this gps location isn't quite reliable. But it's better than nothing I guess.
It has simply drawn the dots, not a line to follow, which is a bit annoying, too

Life360, is quite nice, the family uses that.
There are a number of different ones, some update a lot.. some update once an hr.
