Im not keen on the symbols for the buttons, but I like the Cards. cant explain why I just like how they operate.

Whilst I agree that the buttons are a bit PS3 the whole package looks quite nice.. I'll give it a run tomorrow and see how it goes..

So I've been running L since Friday and it's just a bit too buggy..

It's got some nice things... and some things that are confusing and a step back from Kit Kat.. Like the notifications..

I'll persevere for a bit longer hoping for an update!

This video gave me a better understanding of what L is about.

Ive been using it most of the day.

Its a little weird not seeing the divisions between each letter, as a result ive found myself swiping more to type with it.
I was surprised that I could swipe away whilst holding a kid in my arms with pretty average accuracy and it would still nail my words.

You could download the factory images but it will wipe all your data etc (that's how I rolled back from L)

There's a great overview of the new design language here:
http://www.google.com/design/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

This will be applicable to all Google's products, not just Android, so they've really put some thought into it. The directions on the use of animation in particular is excellent.
