That it does!

My only thought was to put a bump or two into that back hairpin after the sweeper to make it harder to slow the car down/reward the passer more?

Looking forward to trying it out :)

Looking good dude! Have to say that it seems most of the work will be in texturing to really bring it to life.

More learning.

I have now thrown down a race line, which is still early on, but already adds a lot to the track. Also working on trees and finishing off the walls around the track. Still much to do, but coming along.

This is an in car as it is at the moment.

" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I spent some time last night working out how to setup cameras too. I can see that it's going to be fun setting all these up properly.

Looking totally rad dude. Looks like somewhere I'd love to take my real car for a blast! You wouldn't want to mess up the right hander onto the pit straight though - bam! :D

Loving the hills in the background, especially how you have mixed up the texturing to include farming paddocks. Its nice to see thats its not all simply green.

Cheers guys, I'm happy with how it's moving along.

The texture's around the outside really help, but are still a bit off in places. I'll get to them eventually.

There were a few head in hands moments while I worked things out, but got there eventually. Basically you need to create an AI file, which I have done now (haven't tested AI yet), then you can create cameras in the AC editor. I'll do a little write up for those that are interested once I wrap my head around it completely. There are a couple of things that seem to break the cameras so once I understand what not to do, I'll post something.

Thanks for the comments lads. Posting stuff up here certainly keeps me motivated.

Anyone know how to get the game to remember your in-game apps config? It always seems to default to a config I had about a week ago, when I had almost everything on the screen, just trying out the different apps.

It is annoying, as I need to press "hide all apps", then select the two or three I need, at the start of every race...

Any ideas?

It should keep the same apps & their positions persistent from session to session. So not sure why it isn't doing for you...

Not as of yet. I had a bit of a PC issue where I actually thought I lost the whole thing. It was a little terrifying. Managed to get it all back. I've been a bit crook too, so slow going.

It's pretty close to being drivable without falling off to infinity, so I might just post it up here soon. Just need to add a couple of walls. I'd like it to have AI setup too, which shouldn't take too long.

This looks awesome mate! I know what you're going through. Scratch building EVERYTHING is so time consuming! :faint:

Hey Guys.

Good news. The track is in testing stage. Norbs and I had a quick belt around this arvo with the shifter Karts and it was a lot of fun.

So, tonight at 8:30 we're going to open up 6 extra slots for people to test it out online with us.

Track can be downloaded here

Shifter Karts are here

http://www.mediafire.com/download/q1y72 ... rt_0.3a.7z

Server will be open this arvo with USA as password but we will reset and change PW at 8:30 so that Norbs and I can jump in.

The track will work offline with AI in a race, but 8 maximum. Be careful, they all drive like Astro. Hotlap mode doesn't work yet, the pitlane is non existant and you WILL get caught in tyres on the last hairpin if you go into them. Other than that, just wanting to see what other issues there might be with it before.

Love to see you there.

Norbs has been kind enough to do a map file and the corners have been named. :)
