I'm one of those grumpy old men that likes their old stuff better than their new stuff but I'll give it a listen. I still think their peak was The Colour and the Shape. Since then they put out albums that have one or two stand out songs and then a lot of stuff that blends into the rest. But Dave Grohl, Nate Mendel and Taylor Hawkins are all still awesome to watch. I'll never forget the drum duel that Dave and Taylor did at the first show of their's.

I agree The Color and the Shape was their best to date. But I still like most albums they bring out. I thought their last album was great. Looking forward to this.

Oh, and their work on Sound City - Real to Reel was awesome. 'From Can to Can't' with Corey Taylor is an amazing track!

I'd agree with the above but I really loved the last album so I hope it's more of that.

My internet has been down since friday (fixed now - yay!) so I haven't really had a good listen to this until now.

There seem to be a couple of other songs in there.

After he says 'here I go' (40s), the next riff is like 'I should have known''
1.50 riff is like 'wheels'

Loving it though. Can't wait for the rest of the album.

I picked that as well Kev, it's the same as I should have known bit is in a different key. It has to be more than a coincidence.

i've been watching the tv show and it's so freakin good, and the lyrics of the songs make so much more sense.

Fucking great show. I love this album.
