I'm pretty sure a big orange lump re-arranged my front bumper on lap 2....

So the final AACL Winter GT Series has been run and won, Renz, congrats on the win, Righty on what I believe is the series title.
As far as racing in the Bastard went, Practice was slow and Qualifying netted a nice 9th.
I was accused of drifting during qualifying by Righty and while I was drifting, it was mainly due to the dirty tires I got when I was distraced by Righty's spin at the end of Qualifying.
When the flag dropped, the bull stopped and I made it all the way to sixth before being cleaned up by Azitiz, admittedly I had some lag in the first 3 laps.
I recovered in a haste and chased norbs down, with a spun Shaun sitting behind me, halfway through lap 2 I got too damn close to Norbs and Baker and Hylas joined us for a spin....
Recovring in dead last I set about the track with a slow pace, feeling like a real ARSEhole for wiping out the pack I was in, finally I started to rope Todd Baker in and Norbs spun again, after 6 laps Baker spun and I set off after Hylas.
Azitiz ran dry on lap 12 and I took 8th place, just as the leaders were catching up, I gave Renz a huge gap, getting four wheels on the grass before losing it going onto the straight due to my dirty tires.
Norbs and Baker passed me, so I set off after them, Norbs spun and Baker ended up going so slow he was clocking 3 minute laps....
Around this time I spun on lap 18 and saw Shaun barrelling towards me on a fast sweeper...
Thankfully I got out of the way and drifted home for 8th after a real bastard of a drive.

WD Ren on the win, way too fast.

A more intereseting race for me this week. Got a great start, or people around me didn't, but ended up in a bunch of trouble. Sorry to all involved. Thankfully came out relatively OK.

From there I had to chase down the top 3. Was catching Flinty and Box when I got one of AC's notorious freezes. It was enough to send me off the track and about 8 seconds off Flinty.

From there it was head down to try and catch them up. Was gaining half a second or so a lap when we started approacing lapped cars. I thought Flinty was taken out by a mad Norbs seeking retrobution.... Thankfully not.

Once past that, it was time to catch Box. Was gaining over a second a lap at times but the laps were running out. I was within a second on the last lap, but overdid it and fell off the track.

Thankfully, I brought it home in 3rd.

Great series. Thanks Pix for all your work to bring it together. Can't wait for it to get bigger and better as AC develops.

Sorry for grammar and typos... :D

Best round for me as I didn't hit anyone... And only 1 off track due to that double downshift into T1 after lapping norbs.
I blame that farken Orange car, it's too bloody distracting. You should sack the painter mate. :p
The resulting spin cost me 3rd at the time. I'm not to sure if I was going to be able to hold Righty off till the end especially as I now reckon he knew he needed the position to win the series.
So I was very happy to finish 4th in this race & also wrapped to get the same spot for the series.
I also send a shout-out to Pixelboy for all the hard work running this series. Great stuff mate!!!

Hahaha, I found that shortcut before the race too.
I wondered if anyone else would see it, did it register that lap though?

It's not cheating if the game is smart enough to make you do the full lap.. Image

Good fun.. I had plenty of "moments" and when I saw norbs heading for the escape route I had to follow lol
