Yeah I've got screenshots of a 1 or 2 days standby with 6.5 hours usage and the other had slightly more.

I ain't complaining :D

I think Norbs just needs the wife to walk into a Apple Store and have them fix the issue. Cause that's what you've paid for.

Laugh away, but I know enough about it to know shit when I see it.

Shit battery life.
Fucked multi tasking.
Cloud is a joke.
Apple still cant explain the unknown email address when setting the phone up.
That iPhone speedtests at 23meg and mine is 39meg. When they are side by side.
Integration with Yosemite is crap (that coming from my Apple loving mate)

It isnt all a disaster. Their Pay system sounds great. Pity we cant use it here.

The bride had her phone connected to her new PC today and went to browse the phone for a photo.

When she opens the DCIM folder, there is 40 fucking folders with names all being 8 characters long!

Some folders have 1 photo, some have 30 or more.

What the fuck?

She just wanted to email a couple of photos to a customer.

Yeah, iPhone, fucking terrific.

Why not email them straight from the phone?

If you hook it up to a pc/mac it should show all the photos in itunes in dated folders

Kev just don't :D it's gotta be done the hard way so the user feels more in control. Rather than selecting the photos and pressing the share button... Ohh no lets bring back effectively the same model as MSDOS where you had to manually step through every single fucking action to achieve the same result.

* comment was typed with a big smile on my face, just for giggles and no Norbs if it really is a problem I'm happy to help, you do act like a whinging toddler about most Apple stuff these days. I get it, you're over the moon with Android, I ain't trying to sell you something you don't want. Hugs and kisses.

I think she was replying to an email on the PC and remembered the photos.

ITunes? Are you trolling me Kev?

Norbs, on a serious note would this help (listing multiple ways to achieve the desired result)? http://osxdaily.com/2010/07/10/transfer ... -computer/

The other thing I often do is email a picture to myself so I can open it on a different mail account/machine without messing about syncing or transferring.

This.

My phone also uploads any photos I've taken to my NAS when I connect to my home wifi, and I can access that remotely if needs be.

I love living in the future :)

I was so keen to show the wife how good my new Xperia Z3 was by comparing photo's..

SE1Z, try turning down the megapixels on the Z3, I have a photo nut mate that says you'll get better photos overall with the Z3 if your not maxing it out at 20mp.

Can't hurt for a rematch. I think Apple use Sony's image what's-a-ma-thingy anyway.

That won't make any difference. The reason lower MP sensors often take better images (on a sensor the size of a bees dick) is the size of the photosites on the sensor are often larger. This is why apple kept the sensor res reasonable. Other manufacturers are left trying to fix their images with processing algorithms which often also remove detail.

Lens quality has just as much part to play. The iPhone camera is nice for what it is.

The dress is white and gold.

So you're saying I can call it on him? :D Good to know, I remember sitting there when he said it and replied "oh yeah" (in a polite way). What you've said makes sense to a point, cause I know two fifths of fuck all about photography.

Very happy with my 6s plus. Big step up from the iPhone 4 I had.
