That can be a problem, norbs. But I think with a bit of drilling it's solvable. :)

That is a fucking thick table!

Nah, 50mm horizontally. I think the desk is 16mm thick.

The thickness doesn't matter, it'll still lock onto that. The beam looks like it is back just enough from the edge to work.

Edit: Quick measure of my G27.. You only need about 30mm at most

It is, but thought that maybe why you were concerned. My desk is about 40mm.

Yeah, the fanatec needs 7cm and maybe a bit, so 8cm to be safe, to fix the clamp.
But you can remove the clamps entirely and rely on screws (up to 4 screws). It's a good idea to have at least one screw in, anyway, the clamp isn't very secure (aka rubbish) as I said :)

Altho in your case it maybe a hassle to take the wheel off the table then.

Also: depending on the width of that board, you may not be able to use the 2 screwholes closer to the edge...they're only at around the 7cm depth. The farther two are around 10cm from the edge. (check a fanatec drilling template if you like)

I was close to giving away my aluminum welded frame here not long back. Kind of glad I didn't. Having lots of fun with it.

Bought. The A1 pot is getting very spikey. God knows how old it is, so no complaining.

Did a few hours watching the YouTubes last night (thank you Chromecast) and like the fact you can adjust a lot of settings on the fly. And the fact I can bolt it too the desk.

So talking about wheels. I have an Ecci 6000 GTS that's basically collecting dust. Anyone interested ? Keep in mind it's located quite far from Australia :)
Much cycling such kilometers.

No idea. I looked at their shitty website... http://www.fanatec.com/au-en/racing-whe ... el-au.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

But below....

So who the fuck knows.

I don't need the pedals, as I expect the wheel to work with the A1 pedals. It fucking better. :D I wouldn't think the Fanatec pedals would be better than the A1 pedals.

The Fanatec pedals are far better than the A1 pedals (I have both).

The wheel will work with the A1 pedals, they are an independent device.

That site is confusing as fuck. :/

Well, that was what I thought I was getting, but it just arrived and no pedals. Fuck their website is hopeless. Not sure if I should chase them up about it.

At the top of the page it says it has pedals, but at the bottom it says it's wheel only.

Jesus that's a bit rough.

What a terribly confusing way to do business. If you thought you were getting pedals as well for that price, I'd be quite annoyed, and definitely chasing them up about it.
